ECCC Students Participating In BSU Mission Tr ip...While many college stu– dents observed spring break on the beaches of Florida or just goofi ng off. these Baptist Student Union members at East Central Communit) College in Decatur spent their time away from studies by doing mission \\Ork in Kansas Cit) . Missouri. Some of the group's activities included traveling to Basehor, Kansas and distributing flyers to more than 1,500 homes ad\ ertising a community Easter gathering; working with NaJI Avenue Baptist Church in Prairie View, Kansas, where students and directors led the church ) Outh during a four-day " Disciple Now" program; and working the campus of their host, :\1idwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, where they participated in vari– ous beautification projects.
