was raised for student scholarships as a result of the eighth annual East Central Commuruty College Warrior Golf Classic, according to tour– nament coordinator Stacev Hollingsworth, executive director for foundation and alumni relations. Hollingsworth said 24 teams participated in the four-person scramble, held June 25 at the Philadelphia Country Club. The College's Aluiiini Association has sponsored the annual fundraiser since 2002. "The 2009 Warrior Golf Classic was a great event for the ECCC Alumni As s oci at ion ," Hollingsworth said. "We are so thankful to all the participants, corporate and hole sponsors, volunteers and staff of the Philadelphia Country Club for another successful tour– nament." Approximately $27,000 in scholarship monies have been awarded since the tournaments inception. Scholarships are awarded to students residing in the College's five-county dis– trict during the annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held each summer on the
