Prior to Hunter joining the Vick Diamond Warriors, Vick served in 2008 as an assis– tant coach with the Pensacola Pelicans, a pro– fessional team in Pensacola, Fla. His duties included serving as first base coach and providmg instruction in hitting and fielding. He was also lead instructor for the Pelicans' Training Academy. In addi– tion, he has participated in various coaching clinics and provides private and group lessons for baseball 'layers of all ages. He has several years expenence in professional baseball, beginning in 2004 vith the Pensacola Pelicans and concluding with the Vero Beach Devil Rays in 2007. Vick is a former stand– out baseball player at hulkner State Community College in Bay Minette, Ala., and at the University of West Florida, where he received a bachelor's degree in physical educa– tion.
