New ECCC trustee

Or. William C. Wade (centerrof Winston County was recently welcomed as a new member of the East Central Community College Board of Trustees. The new trustee is shown with ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin (left) and Board Chairman Prentice Copeland of Philadelphia fol– lowing the group's Aug. 11 meeting on the Decatur campus. Dr. Wade joins the ECCC Trustees due to his recent selection as the new Supt. of the Louisville Municipal School District, suc– ceeding Harry Kemp. Dr. Wade has an extensive background in education, including 10 years service as Supt. of Education for the Union Public School District. He is also a former adjunct professor at Mississippi State University-Meridian. He began his career in education as an instructor at the Winston/Louisville Vocational Center. He holds four degrees from Mississippi State University in Starkville, including a doctorate in curriculum and instruction/education leadership. He and his wife Sue Ann have four children, Will, Chelsea, Beth Ann and Stephen, and two grandchildren.
