DECATUR- Incoming students aren't the only new faces on the East Cen– tral Community College campus this fall semester. Jason Armstrong of Meridian, Robin Fulton of Louisville and Debra M. Payton ofWalnut Grove began their new duties as members of the ECCC staff on Aug. 14. Armstrong, who joined the college's English fac– ulty, previously served since 2005 as adjunct pro– fessor of management at Mississippi State Univer– sity-Meridian. He is also a former banker, having served with various institutions from 1999 to 2008. Armstrong most recently was employed with Citizens National Bank in Meridian, where he was a commer· cial relationship banker from 2005 to 2008. He is also a former commercial banker with Trustmark National Bank in Tupelo and served as portfolio manager and assistant bank manager at AmSouth Bank in Ridgeland. Agraduate of Havelock High School in North Car– olina, Armstrong attended Mississippi State Univer– sity, where he received a bachelor's degree in agri-

culture and a master'~ degree in business admin– istration. He recently com– pleted a ~econd master's degree in community col– lege education with major empha-.is in English and Engli"h literature.
