New ECCC Training Facility Has Ribbon Cutting Local and state officiab gathered \1onday. ~fay II to participate in a ribbon cutting and tour ofEast Central Communuy College's ne'' CareerAdvancement Center located in the old Sparrus facility at 923 South Church Street m Loui:-\tlle. This Center was made possible through a collaborative effort between the\\ mston Count) Economtc De' elopment District Partnership, the ECCC Workforce Development Center. and the West Alabama/East Mississippi Wired Grant in order to make training and small business counseling services more readily available to those individuals and busmcsses affected by these uncertain economic times. Classes and certifications are scheduled to begm as early as June I ranging from basic electrical, welding, computer, bcalthcare. and dtfTerent apprenticeship offerings as well.
