the Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In addition, she has helped sponsor the annual ECCC District Math Contest held on the Decatur campus. She is married to .James McRae of Carthage and they have three grown children and four grandchildren.
After striving to "make learning fun" during 25 years of sE'rvice teaching students on the secondary and post-secondary levels, Gloria McRae of Carthage is retiring as math instructor at East Central Community College in Decatur. She will be honored with other ECCC retirees at the end-of-the-year luncheon scheduled May 14 (today). She has spent the pa MCRAE a master's degree in math ft·om Mbsissippi State University and completed additional studies from MSU. In addition to her teaching duties, she has helped score the high school AP Calculus test. Approximately 800 high school college and univer– sity Calculus teachers from at·ound the world are represented each year in thil'l project.
