ECCC offers course discount ln an effort to assist dislocat–

Workforce Development staff and other College officials met with approximately 500 dislo– cated workers at a rapid response meeting Wednesday. Jan. 7 at the Choctaw Hospitality Institute in Choctaw. It was recently announced that nearly 600 workers lost jobs at the Golden Moon Resort and Casino locat– ed on the Pearl River Resort in Chocta\\o. To qualify for the 2009 Spnng Incentive Two-for-One program. students must first enroll in one or two courses offered either on the Decatur campus or any off-campus location, and then select an addli.JOnal free course from a "designated" list ofclasses. The mcenuve program applies to part-nme students only - tl1ose \\oho enroll in no more than 11 hours of semester credit. S.) History I and Introduction to Sociology, Foresr/Scott County Career and Technology Center; and English Composition J, College AJgebra, Problem Solving with Real Numbers and Introduction to Sociology, Leake County Vocational Center. Cost for academic and tech– nical classes is $75 per academ– ic hour or $225 for each three– hour course. Additional fees may apply for some courses.
