These Winston County residents are beginning a new chapter In their lives after receiving high school equivalency diplomas at the annual GED (General Educational Development) Graduation ceremony held July 24, 2008, at East Central Community College In Decatur. Standing from lett are Karla Fisher and LaToya Sowe, both of Noxapater; and Steven Copeland, Preston. Forty-five students walked across the Huff Auditorium stage to receive diplomas from ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. State Senator Giles Ward of Louisville was guest speaker.
