basketball. He served as East Central's athletic coordinator and head foot ball coach Crom 1982-1991 and led the War– riors to the state playoffs in 198'A. His overall record during his 36-year career as head foot– ball coach on the high school and community/junior level is 238-138-12, and includes sev– eral confeJ'ence and division titles and a state champi– onship. ciation of Coaches Hall of Fame in 1986. Clark, who lost his brief battle with brain cancer in 2001, served as ECCC's bead baseball coach from 1988 to 2001. The West Point native led the 1998 01amond Warriors to the College's first state base– ball title and a 32-22 record. He received MACJC Coach of the Year honors followi ng the championship season. The 1998 baseball squad is among special groups bein g honored during the 2008 home– coming celebration. Clark's overall record at ECCC is 365- 302-1.
