RECEIVES WARD SCHOLARSHIP: Jason Hancock {center). a 2008 graduate of Newton County High School, is the recipient of the Charles E Ward Memorial Scholar– ship at East Central Community College. The scholarship was established in 2003 by Mr. Ward's widow, Gail Ward {left). and their three sons. Roger, Mike and David Ward Representing the donors are Charles' sisters, Gloria Joiner {left) and Nancy Quinn. The award was presented during the College's annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciat1on Luncheon held Thursday, June 12, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
