RECEIVES WEENIS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP AT ECCC

JohnEllisPinkard(center), a2008graduate of Carthage High School, Is the recipient of the Weems FamilyScholarship at EastCentral Community College in Decatur. This scholarship was es+.ablished in 2001 to commemorate the historical roles of the Weems family of Scott County asmembers of the faculty, Board of Trustees and student body at ECCC. Representing the donors are David Weems (left) and Patsy Wilkerson. The awards were presented during the Colleges annual AT&T Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, June 121n MabryMemorial Cafeteria.
