Receiving honors in baseball were Robert Westbrook of Little Rock, scholar athlete; Brian Jones of Scottsville, Ky., most valuable player and most valuable pitcher; Jack Edmonson of Louisville, most improved~ and Josh Lafferty of Quitman, Jamie Clark Warrior Award. Lafferty, Chris Parkman of Pulaski and Jacob Casey of Union received team cap– tain honors. The Diamond Warriors are led by head coach Neal Holliman and assistants Michael Avalon and Roberto Martinez. Recipiems of awards in women's bas– ketball included Tawaytha Evans of Newton, scholar athlete; Tenesha Brown or Jackson, most valuable offensive play– er, third team NJCAA Ali-Amelican, All– Region 23 and MACJC All-State; Chot– sani Henderson of Newton, most valu– able defensive player; Allison Phillips of Carthage, most improved; Jordan Patter– son of Aberdeen, hustle award; and Rashima Jenkins of Bossier City, La., Lady Warrior Award and All-Region 23.
