The scholarships are awarded to students who are planning to attend an accredited college or vocational school in the United Slates. Two students from Win– ~lon County ·earned the awards. The number of recipients varies each year. The award can be renewed annually for up to four years of undergraduate study. Scholarship award amounts for the Sons and Daughters Program depend on the type of college the recipient is attend– ing. An award amount of $3,000 each academic year is made to recipients attending two-year colleges. At four-year colleges, a scholarship recipi– ent receives $5,000 each acade– mic year.
