She was selected the team's most valuable player and re– ceived a team captain award Brass rece1ved All-Region 23 and first team All-State and All-Division honors following the 2007 season, when East Central finished 29-22 and captured a third-stra1ght MACJC Central Division title. Brass is one of only two Mississippi softball players to receive All-American honors. Copiah-Lincoln Community College pitcher Rebecca Bai– ley was named to the first team.
