ECCC CLUB DONATES TO DECATUR SIREN PROJECT: SkillsUSA students at East Central Community College in Decatur recently raised funds for the Decatur Siren Proj– ect, which involves the purchase of fiveweather-alert sirens. One of the sirens is desig– nated for the ECCC campus. Evan Smart (second from left) of Philadelphia, club presi– dent. presents a S1 000 check for the proJect to Mayor Bruce Cater. Also pictured are John Everett (left). SkillsUSA adviser and electrical technology Instructor, and Randy Rushing of the Decatur Police Department. Total cost for all five sirens is $100,000. Mayor Cater said 75% of the funding will come from grant money. The remaimng $25,000 is being raised on the local level.
