SCOTT COUNTIANS PLACE THIRD IN ECCC WARRIOR GOLF CLASSIC The Community Bank team placed third In the championship ftlght of the seventh annual East Central Community College Warrior Golf Classic held June 19 on the Oaks Course at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club In Choctaw. Team members,who carded a 55 on the par 72 course, Included (from left) Bert Atkison, Steve Gibson, Vance Cox and Tommy Smith, all of Forest Twenty-five teams partici– pated In the four-person scramble, which Is sponsored by the College'sAlumni Association and serves as a fundralser tot student scholarships. Approximately $6,500 was raised In this year's ewnt, according to tournament coordlnatof Stacey Holllngswotth, exec> uttYe director tot foundation and alumni relations. ECCC serves Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties.
