ECCC Golf Classic Second Flight, Third-Place Winners

SIVID, Inc. took second flight, third-place honors in the seventh annual East Central Community College Warrior Golf Classic held June 19 on the Oaks Course at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Choctaw. Team members card~d a 69 on the par 72 course. Twenty-five teams participated in the four-person scramble, which is sponsored by the College's Alumni Association and serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships. Approximately $6,500 was raised in this year's event, according to tournament coordinator Stacey Hollingsworth, executive director for foundation and alumni relations. ECCC serves Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and'winston counties.
