Citing a desire to play in the Southeastern Conference and close to home, East Central Com– munity College football standout Maurice Langston of Meridian cast his lot with Mississippi State University during a scholarship signing ceremony held Wednes– day, Dec. 17 on the Decatur cam– pus. Langston, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound aU-purpose performer for the War– riors the past two seasons, verbal– ly committed to new Bulldog head coach Dan Mullen after the two met Friday in Meridian. He had received numerous offers but nar– rowed his choices to MSU and the University of Memphis.
