trict are the offensive line– man, leaving the Warriors to look elsewhere for skill people. "We have a good bunch of offensive lineman in the district," Cheatham said. "So we'll be looking for skill players mostly. We'll be looking for sever– al defensive players as well." As far as his coaching staff, Cheatham said he is close to making a hire on an offensive coordinator and hinted that it will probably be a high school coach. As far as the rest of his staff, it will remain in place with James Miller moving up to become defensive coordi– nator.

"With the exception of hiring a new offensive coordinator, the staff will remain intact," Cheatham said. "I have interviewed four or five head coaches from the district and hopefully will have some– body soon. It's funny; the high schools are paying so well right now, it's hard to match that money. But I feel strongly about giving a high school coach a chance. Coach (Terry) Underwood gave me that chance and I feel like I should do the same. I would like to get them in here as soon as possible so they can have some input on recr uiting. " National signing day is Wednesday; Feb. 6.
