Vying for the title of Most Beautiful are Wendy Cater, Katie Hedrick and Hannah Watkins, all of Sebastopol; and Valerie McMurry of Edinburg. The event will host entertainment by EC instructor and award-win– ning music composer/per– former Natalie Emmons, and fi rst runner-up to Miss Mississippi 2008 and
Miss Mid-South Ashley Buckman. Buckman, a member of EC's Hall of Fame and for– mer EC Most Beautiful, will also serve as mistress of C(lremony. State Sen. Terry C. Burton will orchestrate the night's events as mas– ter of ceremony. EC's Most Beautiful 2008 and four EC
Beauties will be chosen based on interview and evening gown competi– tion. EC's Most Handsome 2008 will be selected by the judges from beaus pre– viously selected by the student body. The event is free to EC students and faculty with identification and is $5 to the general public.
be among 32 East Central Community College stu– dents who will vie for the t itle of Most Beautiful 2008 in the annual Beauty P.ageant. Themed "Hooray for Hollywood," the pageant is slated for 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 20 in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus.
