Dustan, an outstanding student in the drafting and design technology program, was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, The International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges, and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. He was a 2002 graduate of Newton County High School, where he also received numerous honors.
