The Warriors gave the Ocngals a scare in the top of 1 the eighth, scoring three runs. Eric Ortego replaced Corey Lopez on the pitcher's mound and struck out the final Wanior batter to stop the Warriors' comeback effort. Ortego picked up a save and Lopez was credited with the win. Greg Stovall took the loss for l:.C, allowing six hits and four runs in 4 2/3 innings. Brian Jones led the Warriors at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double. Josh Lafferty added a double. Jesus Aleman took the loss, giving up seven hits in five innings. Chris Parkman and Deon Williams both had a hit for the Warriors. Cleary fini shed the dou– bleheader 3-for-6 with three runs and three RBJ for the Bengals. Boomer Blanchard was 4-for-6, while Kellen Bozeman was 3-for-5 with three RBI.
