Edwards, a 6-1 shootrng guard averaged 16 6 po nts and four steals per contest while Curry, a 6-6 power forward averaged 13 3 oo nts and 1 0 rebounds. Both players received All-Region 5-2A and All-State 2-A recognrt1on following the Tigers' state cham– pionship season. Newton finished season act1on w1th a 36-5 record.
