Seeded second from the South Division, the Lady Warriors were 2-0 against Holme<; during the regular sea– son and Jed by as many as I 1 points in the second half. Both of the regular season wins were by double-digit margJns. EC fell to I9-6. Holmes. the No. 3 seed from the North Division, evened its record at 12-12 with the win. The loss gave the Lady Warriors back-to-back set– backs for just t~e second time this season. Tbe Lady Warriors jumped out to a 6-0 lead on Holmes in the game's first 90 seconds when Mystee Dale scored from the inside. A Dominique Harris bas– ket puJied Holmes to within 14-12 with I 1:40 left in the first half. EC held as much as a I0- point lead with 5:05 remain– ing when Dale scored anoth– er basket. Ashley Brown pulled the Lady Bulldogs to within six with 15 seconds to go when she nailed two free throws. The Lady Warriors carried a 32-26 lead into halftime.
