ECCC sweeps

Southwest East Central Communi– ty College's Lady Warriors snapped a two-game skid with an 85-66 thumping of the Southwest Community CollegeLady Bearsand the Warriors heldon for a 72-71 decision over the Bears Monday night in Decatur: · The 24th ranked Lady Warriors improved to 17-4 overall and 8-3 in league play. Rashirna Jenkins led EC in scoring with 26 points. Choctaw Central product MysteeDale alsohada pro– ductive evening with 20 points. EC held a commanding 50-29lead at halftime. In the men's contest, Southwest's Phillip Brown missed a shot in the fmal seconds and Warrior Justin Brown got the rebound as ECCC held on for the victory. EC was led by Marquis Wilson who had 20 points.
