Buzzer-beater leads East Central past EMCC in season-opener

Tanesha Brown ' s three-poi nt s hot at the buzzer provided the East Central Community College women with a stunning 55-54 vic– tory over arch-rival East Mississip– pi Community Coll ege Saturday afternoon in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building on the Decatur campus. The Warriors were also success– ful over the visiting Lions, posting thei r initial victory of the young campaign - a 93-83 decision- for first-year head coach Maurice Bowie.
