EAST CENTRAL COMMUN ITY COLLEG E 'Haunted House of Hoops' at ECCC on October 31

Apreview of East Cen– tral Community College's Lady Warrior and War– r ior basketball teams for the 2006-07 campaign along with a little Hal– loween fun are scheduled Tuesday. Oct. 31. when the annual ''Haunted House of Hoops'' is held on the Decatur campus. Activi– ties get underway at 7 p.m. at the Brackccn– Wood Physical Education Building. Area youngsters are invited to "trick or treat" as they are welcomed to the event by members of the student body associa– tion, who will distribute Halloween goodies provid– ed by area businesses. Lady Warrior head coach Billy Smith and first-year Warrior head mentor Maurice Bowie will introduce members of

after earning All-Region 23, All-State and All-Star honors as a member of the 1996-97 ECCC squad. Featured performers for the event are the Warrior cheerleading squad and the Cenn·alettes. the dance line for the Wall 0' Sound Marching Band. Various door prizes will be presented and free food and drinks will he avail– able at the conclusion of the event. ECCC begins the 2006-07 basketball campaign by hosting Holmes Commu– nity College on Thursday, November 2.
