Sever al Newton County students were recently tapped for membership in the East Central Community College Warrior Corps. a select group of stu– dents who assist in recruiting and serve as hosts and hostesses for various events on the Decatur campus. ECCC staff members Lanettc Hannah and Romonica Evans serve as Warrior Corps sponsors. Here are the Newton County mem- bers: · Beth Alexander Alexander is a freshman liberal arts major at ECCC, where she is also a member of the Environmental Club, Baptist Student Union, Scholars' Bowl team, Tom-Tom staff. concert choir and ECCC Players. A home-schooled student, Alexander was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students and Outstanding Students of America.
