Area high school seniors can get their first taste of college life by attending Senior Day activities scheduled Tuesday, April4 and Wednesday, April 5 at East Central Community College in Decatur. Joe Killens, vice presi– dent for student services, said a full slate of activi– ties is planned for the spe– cial visitors. "We try to provide our district seniors with a day of information and enter– tainment. Every club and organization will have an information booth set up in the Brackeen-Wood gym, as will representa– tives from our academic, career and technical pro– grams of study, We want to provide as much informa– tion as possible to our seniors so they can learn more about any activity or career they are interested in pursuing. And, as always, some top-notch APP entertainment is planned

Academy. Registration is sched– uled from 9 to 9:30 a.m. each day in front of Huff Auditorium. A brief pro– gram follows in the audito– rium, and includes a per– formance bv the Ac'cents. the College's show choir. Students will be directed to the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Build– ing from 10 to 11:15 p.m.. to receive information regarding various College offerings. The Collegians, ECCC's rock 'n' roll band, will per– form in the auditorium from 11 a.m. to noon. A complimentary lunch on the Mall concludes the day's activities.
