A graduate of Nanih Waiya High School, Jones is an envi– ronmental engineering major and will transfer to MiSsissippi State University in ilie fall. Her mission field will be in the Philippines, where she will be working in the Agusan River Valley. She will be working in the field of agriculture and helping to alleviate poverty among rural farmers. She will also be involved in community develop– ment projects. During her time in the country she will be sleeping on concrete floors or in tents; showers will be taken a,t an outdoor pump; clothes will be washed by hand; and areas may or may not have electricity. Jones said, "I hope to grow closer to God, and that He will use me to show love to His peo– ple."
