Basketball competition resumed on a positive note for the East Central Com· munity College Lady War– riors and Warriors who began the New Year by recording victories over Itawamba Conununity Col– lege Thursday night in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building on the • Decatur campus. The Lady Warriors claimed a 58-50 decision and the Warriors won 85- 77. Both squads also swept the season serieswith their non-division opponents. Sophomore forward Shannon Lloyd pumped in 14 points to lead the Lady Warriors, who improved to 7-4 under first-year head coach Billy Smith.
