Jessica R. Worrell of Union was recently selected to serve as secretary in the Office of Admissions, Records and Research at East Central Community College in Decatur, announced ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. Worrell, who began her new duties on March 20, was previously employed at Williams Brothers in Philadelphia. She has also worked in the Communications Department for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. . A graduate of Neshoba Central High School, Worrell received an associate's degree in business and office tech– nology with medical billing emphasis from Meridian Community College in 2000. She has also attended ECCC and Jones County Juruor College. While at MCC, Worrell served as vice president and secretary of Phi Beta Lambda and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. She was also nominated for the Collegiate All-American Scholarship Awards Program.
