Brackeen was drafted by the 'Jew York Krucks before returning to Decatur where he sen ed as coach for the Warrior basketball team. His athletic honors include membership in the Natiomil Junior College Hall of Fame, the ~tississippi Sporb Hall of Fame, ECJC Hall of Fame and the Ole Miss Hall of Fame. Denver met his future wife, Charlotte Wells of Union while a student at EC)C. They had two :.on:., Morgan of Union and Charlie, who is deceased. Ftmeral serqces for Brackeen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at tbe Decatur United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Vnion City Cemetery with Stephen:.
