campus of Fast Central Community College, iL will bear the name of longtime science instructor Ron Davis. The ECCC Board of Trustees recently approved the measure, following the recommendation from the college's Committet• to Study and Recommend Names for Campus Build- ings and Faciliti<.·s.

Davis, who taught gen- eral biology, zoology, and human anatomy and physiology classes for 19 years at East Ct•ntral, lost his two-y<.·ar battle with cancer on J\pril.21. He had earlier mwounced plans to retin· c1u~: to his health. Da\'is served 10 vears in the Meridian Public Sdwol District before joining the ECCC faculty in 1987. ; ECCC Prt•sidCnt Dr. Phtl A.
