EC Instructors to hold art show, organ recital Speiial to The Record

The Division of Fine Arts at East Central Community College in Decatur will pre– sent an exhibition by art instructor Bruce Guraedy and an organ recital by music keyboard instructor Len Bobo at 7 p.m. on Thursda)l, Feb. 3 in the Vickers Fine Arts Auditori– um. There is no charge to attend and the public 1s invited. A reception will be held immediately following the organ recital. The Guraedy exhibit will consist of 12 to 20 works mostly of landscapes around the east central area of Mississippi as well as New Mexico, Texas, Col· orado and Montana "I've used a whole host of mediums for expression which include oils, water– color, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, ink wash, and mixed media," Guraedy said. "These are real places I've visited over 30 years and have attempted to express myself with color and mood." Bobo's program is titled "Bach in First Person." "The program will fea– ture a brief narration on the life of Bach. a most cre– ative composer genius,"
