These graduating sophomore members of the 2005 Region 23, Division 1 championship East Central Community College baseball team display rings received during a cere– mony held recently on the Decatur campus. From left are southpaw hurler Josh Miller of Elysian fields 1 .Te~l!s; ~utfleider V~n Wi~son of West Lauderdale; right-handed pitch– er Cody SaveH of Newton, catcherlftrst baseman Corey Coward ~Noxapater;-infielde Joseph Cavenaugh of Newton County; and right-handed pitcher/outfielder Andre Coleman of Louisville. Head coach Jake Yarborough and assistant Dusty Hillman pre– sented rings, team photos and other memorabilia to squad members during the special program. The Diamond Warriors, who advanced to the NJCAA Super Regional after winning the Region 23 Division 1 titie, finished the season with a 29-23 record. Yaborough received Coach of the Year honors following the successful campaign.
