Rachel McElhen– nev and Kelsi Ables, all of Decatur; Traci Crabtree and Krista Chaney of Lit– tle and Askley May of Conehatta were recently named as members of the East Central Community College Warrior Corps, a select group of students who assist in recruiting and serve as hosts for vari– ous campus events. Colby Amis of Newton County High School, served as president of Mu Alpha Theta and Vivace' show choir. He also received various football awards including first team All-State, Most Valu– able Player. captain award and Best Offensive Back in class 5-3A. At East Central, the freshman liberal arts major is a member of the~ Warrior football team and was recently named hon– orable mention All-State. He is also a member of the golf team and the Colle– gians rock·n-roll band. He is the son of Cheryl and George Amis of Decatur.

Traci Crabtree a gradu– ate of Newton County High School Crabtree was a member of the Cougar Marching Band, chorus Vivace' show choh~ the student council and the Beta club. She was also selected for Who's Who Among American High School Students. At East Central the freshman pre-nursing major and is a member of the ECCC Warn )r Wall 0' Sound Marching Band.
