' EAST CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE RECEIVES BEEMON SCHOLARSHIP: Newton County Academy graduate Kelsi Ables (left) is the recipient of the 2005 T.T. Beemon Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The Beemon scholarship was estab– lished in 2001 by T.T. Beemon, ECCC Class of 1937, and his wife~ the former Mary Emma Fancher. Representing the donors is Col. Albert Smith of Mascotte, Fla. The award was presented during the College's annual BeiiSouth Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, May 26, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
