These East Central Community College student-athletes were selected National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academ~c All-Americans for the 2004-05 college term. Pictured are (from left) Kristin Chaney (softball and basketball) of Little Rock, Marley Smith (softball) of Union, Kyle Gordon (tennis) of Morton and Valerie Gibbs (tennis) of Newton, who were all named to the Distinguished List with a 3.8 grade point average or above. Not pictured is Roberto Orellana (tennis) of Forest, who was selected Academic All-American , with a 3.6 grade point average or above. Students who receive NJCAA Academic All-American honors must have completed three semesters of college work and par– ticipated in at least one season at the varsity level.
