special to The Star DECATUR - More than .,tudents received diplomas May 13, as East Central Community College held its 76th commencement at 8 p.m in Warrior Stadium. Included in the total are those who completed degree requirements following the 2004 summer and fall terms, according to Dr. Lavinia Sparkman, vice president for instruction. Those participating in the program included: gradu– ating sophomores ~tarley Smith of Union, who gave the invocation; Amy Ealy of Forest, who presented the keynote address; and Jordan Kemp of Louisville, who gave the benediction. Victoria Loper of Decatur and Luke Howell of Union presented a musical selection titled "You Raised Me Up."
