ECCCSTUDENTS RECEIVING STATE PBL HONORS: embers of East Central Com- munity College's Theta Chi Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, organization for business stu- dents, received various honors at the State PBL Conference held recently in Jackson. Theta Chi won top honors in the Local Chapter siness Report and placed third in fund raising for the March of Dimes. Theta Chi was selected as one of three Gold Seal Chapters in Mississippi and was recognized as a member. Individual awards were presented to (seated from left) Jeffery Davis Louisville, first place, Ameri- can Enterprise Project and second·place, Community Project; Ken Webster of Philadelphia, first place, Human Resource Management; f Nolan Burchfield of Lobutcha, first place, Telecommunications; and (standing f om left) Brad Walton of Decatur, who teamed with Chris Rush (far right) of Union to win se nd place honors in Webpage Design; Joseph Lathem of Sebastopol, second place, Info ation Management; Ken Triplett of Louisville, third place, Computer Concepts; and ush, second place, Visual Basic. Triplet and Burchfield also teamed to win third plac~in Network Design, and Web– ster and Ron Foley (not pictured) of Newton placed third i Emerging Business Issues. Also not pictured is Fran Warmack of Louisville, who finish d third in Community Service Project. The first- and second-place award winners qualify for the National PBL Leadership Conference scheduled this summer in Orlando, Florida
