ECCC nursing students tour state hospital
East Central Community College nurs– ing students of Neshoba County toured the Mississippi State Hospital campus as part of their clinical rotation. Nursing stuuents are welcomed with a brief overview of the hospital's history and mission and tours of MSH's museum, child and adolescent unit, and forensic unit. MSH regularly hosts tours for nurs– ing students. "Current statistics show that one in five Americans are affected by mental health so no matter what specialty or field of practice these stu– dents are going into, they will encounter farn lies and indiVIduals needing treat– ment. We are appreciative for the oppor– tunity to expose them to the hospital and its services," said Kathy Denton, MSH community affairs coordinator.
