EAST CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE HICKOX RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS ART SCHOLARSHIP: Sarah Htckox of Decatur, a sophomore art student at East Central Cor nmunity College, was recently presented a schol– arship valued at ~8,000 to attend the College of Art and Design in Savanhah, Georgia. Hickox received the $2,000 per semester award after submitting 10 works of art from her portfolio. Htckox. a Phi Theta Kappa member with a 3.944 grade point average, plans to study photography at the pres– tigious college She is the daughter of Drue and Jim Hickox of Decatur Also p1ctu ·ed is ECCC art 1nstructor Bruce Guraedy.
