Sheila Hudson (left) of Sebastopol was recently present– ed a nontraditional student schol– arship to continue her studies at ~ast Central Community College m Decatur. Hudson, shown with Joe .Killens, Vice President for Student Services, is a 49-year-old ~ec~nd semester freshman major– mg m pre-nursing. She is also a Dean's List Scholar, having earned a 3.5 grade point average for the fall term. She is married to Nick Hudson and they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Nontraditional sttt~ent tuition scholarships are av~ilable to qualified Mississippi r~s1dents, age 23 or older at the time of initial enrollment, who enroll full time at ECCC on ~the Dec.atur campus. Scholarships are avatlable for three consecutive semesters following the first 12 semester hours earned as either a part-time or full-time student at East Central.
