Kristin Chaney started the big inning in tht opener and she hit a one-out single to left field, then promptly swiped second base. Chaney scored the game's first run on Abby MilJpr's single to center field. Winning pitcher Marley Smith reached on a fielder's choice that saw both Lady Warriors advance. Dominique Mapp made it 2-0 with a single to left and Lauren V\l'hite's single to center field t·xtcnded the lead to 4-0.
