EC teams both turn in 1-1 weeks Both East Central Community College basketball teams went 1-1 last week. The Warriors won at Jones, while the Lad} \'\'arriors won at home against Hinds. combined Bender with 12, Shannon Lloyd with 11, Tierra Young with nine, and Kim Cox with eight. Brittany Reese and Jasmine McClendon had 15 points each to lead Jones, 11-4.
The Lady Bobcats led 34-32 at the break • EC men 90, Jones 80: Sophomore Andrew I ewis of \1orton pumped in 21 points to lead the Warriors to the Jan. 17 win at Ellisville. With the win, the Warriors earned their first South Division victory after sustaining two narrow losses- 76-73 to Copiah-Lincoln and 84-79 Gulf Coast. EC improved to 4-10 overall.
