Five Warriors receive all-state hono~ .
Named to the second team were offensive lin man Javares Dobbins (5-10, 290) of Tuscaloo County, Ala., and defensive lineman Geor Maddox (6-1. 265) of Tuscaloosa County- Quarterback Jimmy Oliver of state champi Pearl River was named the Most Valual Offensive Back. Steve Campbell of Gulf Co was the Coach of the Year. Rory Johnson of Hinds was the D_efens Back MVP, while Sean Merrill of Gulf Coast v the Defensive Line MVP.
Five members of the 2005 East Central Community College football team have been selected to the MACJC all-state fiom team. ECCC finished 3-4 this fall. combined Greg Hathorn (6-2, 240) of Louisville was selected to the first reports team as a defensive lineman, while Paul Tolbert (6-1. 220) of Clinch CountY. Ga., was a first-team choice at linebacker. Jarius Neal (6-3, 215) of Pickens County. Ala.. was a first-team selection at defensive back.
