"Part of it is that there are only so many Thursdays, Fridays an d Saturdays to play high school, junior college and collegiate games, and there are many factors that can affect how you draw a crowd," said Roger Carr, EMCC's head football coach and athletic director. "Sometimes you can work these things out, but other time it is har d to move things around.We were not able to work it out this year." "The East Mississippi and East Central rivalry is important, and it would have been an honor for the game to be played at Meridian High School," said Meridian High athletic director Jermrune Brown. "We were unable to confirm the date and time. We looked at several scenarios, but it just wouldn't fit." The game site for EMCC and ECCC has return to the Scooba campus Pi EMCC, and it will kick off at 6:30p.m.
