For the first time since 2002. the East Central Community College Warriors will have their football by schedule as much in their Marty favor as it's going to get. "For the fl!'St time in three years. we've got five home games," ECCC head coach Terry Underwood said. "''m tickled to have that. It's always tough on the road whatever level you're at, so we're excited to have five home games." The Warriors hope to put that to their advantage early as three of their first four games are slated for Warrior Stadium. "Our first two ganies are at home and three of the first four," Underwood said. "They're all against quality opponents and you just feel better playing them at home. We have East Mississippi and Jones, which aren't over an hour and a half, and Copiah-Lincoln. which is about two hours and 15 minutes. "Every game is important. but we've got a lot of big games at home. We've got the defending national champion in Pearl River, we've got Gulf Coast, who I think wiU be as good as anybody in the league; we've got Hinds. and two of the best out of the North Division in Northwest and Itawamba. "The schedule is better for us than it has been in several years." The Warriors open up with
